Growing Green Wealth

The business of growing trees is ancient and a well-established commercial enterprise, usually owned and funded by Multinational Corporations, Superannuation Funds and Managed Funds and operated on a large scale, both in Australia and internationally. 

The Green Wealth Group is changing that, slightly, but significantly.

Our vision is to make participation in the commercial and financial aspects of tree ownership available to the wider population: to the “Mums and Dad”, small business owners, Self-Managed Super Funds or to anyone else who wants to see their valuable dollars at work in an environment that is off-set (yet still protected) compared to the traditional investment areas of property and the share market. 

In simple terms, we sell “packages” of trees, in lots from 250 upwards. The trees are Australian-native Spotted Gums. 

After you make your purchase we plants seeds, nurture and plant the healthy seedlings, irrigate, thin and manage the growing saplings into mature, marketable timber that we then harvest, mill and sell to the wholesale and retail market – delivering a financial return to you - the owner of the trees.

 This ideally happens over a ten year period, but the young trees have a commercial value at each stage of the growth and development, so harvesting and sale can take place from the end of year 3 onwards. Obviously, the more mature trees deliver a higher value, but this becomes a choice for the individual owner and allows you to meet whatever individual financial objectives you may have.
